In Frankie magazine I read about photographer Luke Stephenson. He started an incomplete dictionary of show birds. He contacted a breeder and went to the house and photographed his birds. He made little bird studios of little boxes to give the 'models' a homey feeling. The birds really look proud and I truly believe they are doing their best to give a hansom vogue pose :) Have a look on his site to see more beautiful photo series!
